Jamison and Firecracker Join the Family

A few weeks ago, we sold a pregnant heifer to a young man in Worden, Illinois, and he asked if we were interested in purchasing a few horses. Although we were looking for another very very broke horse and a pony, we didn't think they'd find us.

It turns out that Jamison hadn't been ridden in a few years, but the pony was as broke as broke could be.

The pony now lives at Willow City Farm, and loves kids to take a ride. (Even adults!) Some come by the farm, buy some eggs and beef, and ride the pony!

Jamison went to Cantrall Creek Stables for a refresher course with Liz Carter. I cannot recommend her enough. She was kind and patient, (especially with me) and has proven to be a valuable asset for our team. Jamison will continue his lessons and will hopefully be helping me sort cattle soon!
