Hey Havana!  Ready to get outside?  Come to the Stag Tap's Beer Garden on Main and do some yoga (or not), snuggle up some baby goats and their mamas, while you sip Bloody Marys and mimosas (or beer).  Nama-stay for the Havana Songwriter's Festival going on at the same time!  Take a road trip to Havana and make a day of it!   You can read all about Black Dirt Management's Songwriter's Festival below.

What is Goats  + Yoga like?

When you come to The Stag Tap, you'll head out back to the Beer Garden on Main. (There will be signs directing you!) Once you check-in and grab a wristband, it's time to grab a drink.  After you get your cocktails (if you're over 21) or mocktails, you'll set up your mats or beach towels and get to meet the goats.  Yep, you can bring your drinks into the yoga area!  You will be given cups of goat treats to help persuade the goats to come to you.  There will be some who will be on top of you, and some who'd rather watch you from afar or just eat out of your hand.  You can be as involved (or not) as you'd like. We can also strategically place the right goats on top of you for just the right selfie!

Some people just like to sit and hang with the goats, and some love to do full-on yoga.  Either way, this class is just for you.  This is a VERY informal!

If you are no longer able to attend, you may transfer your ticket to a friend to the same event.  Just give us a heads up!

Be sure to bring a beach towel - nice yoga mats can get nibbled or ruined by the goats so we don't want you to waste your favorite one!

About The Stag Tap & Beer Garden on Main

Located on historic Main Street in downtown Havana, the Stag Tap Beer Garden is a favorite outdoor gathering place, featuring a large stage for live music, an outdoor bar and plenty of space to relax in the garden.   The Stag Tap Beer Garden features live music for Sunday Fundays every Sunday from May - October!  It's a great way to get out and relax on a Sunday afternoon and have a good time with friends before Monday rolls around.  Live music, food on the grill from Babe's on Plum, wine by the bottle from The Main Room, and always fun! ​ The Beer Garden is located at 210 West Main Street, and connected to the back of the Stag Tap bar!

About the 2023 Havana Songwriter's Festival

Black Dirt Management presents the 2023 Havana Songwriters Festival May 19-21 on the eastern bank of the Illinois River in historic downtown Havana, IL. We've gathered some of the finest songwriters from the Midwest and beyond for a weekend of intimate performances and an unmatched listener experience. H

eld at host venues throughout downtown Havana, performances are presented in “rounds” of 3-4 writers providing a unique opportunity to witness spontaneous collaborations and hear the stories behind the lyrics and melodies.  Band Showcases are held outdoors after the Songwriter Rounds on Friday & Saturday night and Sunday afternoon where performers and attendees can stretch out and rock out. 

Ticket holders will also have an opportunity to meet performers and mingle with other attendees at the Saturday Morning Social/Songwriter Jam at Stella Mae’s Coffee Shop.
