Even though Willow City Farm is not a non-profit, sometimes it seems that way!  In order to keep our prices low and animals well-cared for, we know that every dollar counts!

Here are some of the items we would love to take off your hands...

For the Animals:

• Food: Hay, grain (oats, corn, chicken feed), bird seed, dog food, and other dry grains for dogs’ fresh food

• Produce: Almost all fruits and vegetables (no onions and no fruit with large pits).  Favorites are apples, carrots, and dried fruit.

• Bales of Straw

• Water troughs

• Horse or Dog supplies (grooming supplies, halters, lead ropes, horse blankets, etc.)

• Metal mouse-proof garbage cans for food storage

• Sponges, scrub brushes, stainless steel sponges, etc. for cleaning animal dishes

• Dog treats

• Fly control items for the horses and cows (repellent, masks, wicks, etc.)

• Hoses

• Dog bowls

• Dog costumes!  (Yes, Goats + Yoga is more fun when the goats wear outfits)

Barn Maintenance:

• Lumber, plywood, nails, screws or any other hardware you no longer need

• Fence posts and fencing

• Shovels, rakes, pitch forks, hoes, and brooms in working condition

• Wheelbarrows and carts

• Ladders

• Duct tape

• Electric golf cart

• Work lights on stands, heat lamps, or light bulbs

• Extension Cords

• Bungee Cords

• Zip ties

For the Store and the Office:

• Cleaning supplies: Dish detergent, laundry soap, sponges, bleach, etc.

• Paper towels and bathroom tissue

• Rubber gloves and latex gloves

• Folding tables and chairs for food sorting

• Rugs an doormats

• Lawn furniture and picnic tables

• Fire extinguishers

• Flashlights

• Batteries

• Heavy duty scissor

• Freezers

Just because something isn't on our list, doesn't mean we cannot use it!  If you have any items that you think may be beneficial to us, please let us know!  We are also in the market for an ATV, golf cart, or tractor.  If you see a good deal somewhere, just point us in the right direction!
