Goats + Yoga @ The Workout Company - Normal IL
Time & Location
About The Event
New location, same time! We will see you at The Workout Company! 419 N Kays Dr, Normal, IL. There will still be a complimentary wine tasting at Green Top Grocery following the event, so be sure to stop by after class!
What is Goats + Yoga like?
You'll be given cups of goat treats to help persuade the goats to come to you. There will be some who will be on top of you, and some who'd rather watch you from afar or just eat out of your hand. You can be as involved (or not) as you'd like. We can also strategically place the right goats on top of you for just the right selfie!
Here's a few things to keep in mind...
This is a VERY informal class! You are welcome to bring your yoga mat, or a beach towel will be just fine, too.
If you are no longer able to attend, you may transfer your ticket to a friend. Just give us a heads up!
Please follow us on social media and share those photos! Please use the hashtag #GoatsPlusYoga so we can all see each other's photos!
If you have additional questions, feel free to call Tara @ 217-899-4562 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Most importantly, have a great time!
What is Green Top Grocery?
Green Top Grocery is a co-op. A co-op is an organization owned, operated, and financed by its owners. Green Top Grocery is owned by those who purchase shares (providing equity for the store). Ownership is open to all, and anyone can shop at the co-op regardless of whether they are an owner or not. In many ways, a co-op grocery store is just like any other grocery store — it carries the range of products and offers many services found in a typical grocery store… but there are some very important differences!
How is a food co-op different from ‘regular’ grocery stores?
While a food co-op has things in common with a traditional grocery store, it’s our difference that makes a co-op so amazing! For instance, cooperatives exist to fulfill the needs of their owners, not shareholders or executives hundreds of miles away. In the case of Green Top Grocery, priority is placed on local farmers/producers, and organic selections. Green Top also exists to create better food access for the community, and to build a stronger, more just local economy.
