April 2017 Dinner

Paula Wolfert's new Biography/Cookbook is, as the title suggests, Unforgettable. Thus, it was hard for Denise not to be inspired to use these recipes for our April dinner series.  Learning of her Alzheimer's diagnosis in 2013, Paula uses food in combination with other therapies, to help her her combat the effects of  the disease.  Read more about her story and new cookbook here.

The charity

This month we will be donating 10% of all sales to the local chapter of the Alzheimer's Association.

Since 1980, the The Alzheimer’s Association, Greater Illinois Chapter has provided reliable information and care consultation; created supportive services for families; increased funding for dementia research; and influenced public policy changes. Today, the Greater Illinois Chapter serves the more than a half million Illinois residents affected by Alzheimer’s disease throughout our chapter area, including 210,000 people with the disease.
