Hours Update + Whole Chicken & Cuts Here + Events + Cheese & Sitka Sale
Just a quick notice about a few changes to our store hours…
This Wednesday we will open late at 1pm and remain open until 6pm. This Thursday we will NOT be at the farmer’s market. However, we will stay open until 4pm. This also happens to be Chloe’s birthday, so if you see her, be sure to with her a happy 16th! This week, we will also be open Sunday from 4pm-6pm. (This will also be Farm + Chef Takeaway pickup). Farmstand Hours this week: Wednesday, 20th – 1pm – 6pm Thursday, 21st - 10am – 4pm Friday, 22nd – 10am – 5pm Saturday, 23rd - 2pm - 5pm Sunday, 24th - 4pm - 6pm Market Hours this week: Saturday, 23rd - Downtown 8am-12:30pm Sunday, 24th - Copper Pot Cooking Studio 8am-12pm
Whole & Cut Chicken Available!
We processed our birds a little earlier than usual, so they’re just a little smaller this go-around.
Whole birds are averaging about 3.5 – 4.5 pounds instead of 4-5 pounds. We have cuts (breasts, drumsticks, thighs, wings), whole chicken cut up, and whole chicken. Our chicken cuts don’t last long, so feel free to contact us to hold your cuts for you!
Whole Hog
There's only one whole hog still available next week. These are amazing heritage breed show pigs that some of you may have seen at the Illinois State Fair. The price will be about $250 - $300 for the half and about $100 - $140 for processing fees, depending on your specs per half.
